Gay and Lesbians in London

London has some of the best places, such as bars and night clubs, which are homosexual-oriented. The main reason is the liberal attitude to homosexual people and since the past decade the city houses one of the largest lesbian and gay community in Europe.
In England very often you can see on the streets gays and lesbians to hold hands and kiss and so that there is a gay club on every corner. London is a place that offers some of the best night life scenes in the world. The heart and the best place in London is Soho, where Old Compton Street, Rupert Street and the surrounding area house gays bars, clothing shops, cafes, art galleries, cinemas and restaurants. In addition, Earl's Court in the west, Islington and Stoke Newington in the north, Hoxton and Shoredich ( in Hackney) in the East London and Vauxhall and Clapham in the south have been developed a great status for their gay visitors.

Every year gay and lesbian community celebrates London's Pride Festival in June/July. During the festival there are many events including film screening, sporting and arts events, theatre, comedy and cabaret performances, debates and concerts.
If you going on a vacation to London or just for travelling for business and looking for something interesting to do or some place to have fun, instead of spending the night at the room in one of the London hotels. No matter if you are accommodated in one of the Docklands hotels, Canary Wharf hotels or hotels in Mayfair if you want to visit some of the exotic gay night clubs, you can find them even on the main streets, not so far from the hotels.
